I Got Distracted...
First: the change from per creation to monthly charges seems to have been completed on Patreon's part. If any of you experienced issues with it, please let me know. As I mentioned previously, it changes nothing as far as what I do and what you pay, but feel free to blame Apple if this change caused you any grief.
Onto the dev blog proper: I implemented the ideas I talked about for the ship (also wrote some dialogues and cutscenes to introduce the ship and its mechanics). Once again, if anyone has suggestions, I am willing to lend a ear.
As for what I did next, I am partly proud AND embarrassed to admit, I spent the week writing a single scene. For those who vote in the polls, it's the cursed painting scene that won last time. The scene is heavily inspired in some aspects by a HOT (and relatively short) animation video of Samus Aran getting hypnotized I found online.
The fact that the scene is supposed to feature the "titty lover" trait did the rest, and I got titnotized into writing a scene with a lot of effects for the presentation. I honestly think it's one of the hottest scenes I wrote, but I wonder if I shouldn't have gone for something simpler. It's heavily focused on hypnosis and large breasts so I am sure most people around here will appreciate it. XD I just got utterly obsessed with it, and even now I am thinking of possible ideas and tweaks to make it better.
As a result, I think I won't work on the Golden Leaf quest this month, or if I do I'll only do it after I send the game to the testers (so that I can focus on squeezing in as much content as I can for the release).
That's all for today, see you next week! ^_^

im in chapter 5 and i got captued, it making me to some chemirty to make acid but i need powdered gold, where do i buy powdered gold?
You might have the wrong game, I think.
Edit: at least as far as buying powdered gold goes.
There is a puzzle involving acid where you need to mix “s. juice”, “korett” and “solidus” to obtain it, I don't know if that's what you are referring to.
Perhaps the confusion comes from the fact that the powdered gold is listed as an ingredient to create a hi-potion, but that's not the recipe for the acid (which isn't listed, but has hints in the note as to how it can be created by accident).
At first the powdered gold in the comment threw me off, because I knew that wasn't in the game. XD
that is what im talking about , when it gives you the list of acids, it says "then add powdered gold (need to buy more)"
Yeah, the puzzle throws a curve ball at you: basically, the recipe listed is for a hi-potion, and it warns you about creating an acid on accident (which is, incidentally, what Erica needs).
Specifically, it tells you that to create the acid, you must mix the first intermediate chemical (created by mixing "s. juice" and "korett") with something that has the same COLOR as the second intermediate.
Basically, the logical steps are:
1) Mix the second intermediate ("silverine" + "galbanos") to see what color it turns into (a bright orange hue);
2) Examine the chemical descriptions until you find something of a similar color ("solidus" is orange);
3) Mix the first intermediate ("s. juice" + "korett");
4) Add solidus and obtain the acid.
Note that you can just mix "s. juice" + "korett" and then add "solidus" to skip the first few steps if you already know the answer.
Thank you, i spent a hour trying to figure it out. good game btw
No problem, glad you enjoyed the game! ^_^
By the way, there is a walkthrough linked in the game's folder that should list almost all the quests and relative solutions, if you get stuck again.
