Changing Course

First of all, apologies for the late post. I am a little sick at the moment, so when it came to write it yesterday night, I just felt too tired to do so (I shouldn't have waited until it was so late).

Anyway, I thought for sure I'd be working on the academy last week, but inspiration didn't strike me, so I ended up writing a mini-quest, instead. We'll finally get something out of giving the foreign Gear to Janet so she could study it, but she will require some help from us... As usual.

I also wrote a new scene (the final event for the "suspicious" carillon you and the twins can receive after the party in Rahib), and fixed a bunch of typos I found while checking some old content.

I think I should be able to release the update next monday (give or take a day), so keep your schedule free for next week! ^_^

Hello my friend, I am an old fan. I knew through this update that you are sick, I hope you are getting well, Do not try to exhaust yourself and take your time to recover. You have made us addicted to this masterpiece of yours. I just wanted to tell you that the last missions you added were really fun and enjoyable. We were all fooled with Erika, especially when the truth about that group came out, and I also want to be a little selfish by suggesting some points (since the inspiration hasn't found its way to you yet 🙃).

1- Since you mentioned Janet, I remember the twins at the shop, they were suspiciously friendly, so I hope you have some plans for them.

2- I also hope that there will be quests for the circus, such as working there or doing missions for them.

3- As for the beach in Solina, the place needs expansion and side quests as well or even working at the bar.

And one last thing, I wish there's a way to call all of the previous encounters (like a cellphone), to have a good time with them at home in Tarkas, Golden leaf mansion, maybe some bar or at the beach, the hotel, or even shack at the woods ..etc

(Fans are crazy lol)

Take care mate, get well soon.

Hey there!

I am slowly getting better (it was a bit worse than I thought, so I ended up needing antibiotics and prednisone), thanks for wishing me well. I am glad you liked the twist! It took me a while to piece the quest together, so it's nice to hear it worked out in the end.

1) At one point, I was planning a quest involving Janet being kidnapped, so the kids would have helped a little in that one, but it got scrapped, so at this point they are just there to ground Janet and provide some comedic relief by being more serious than their older cousin.

2) I don't know about a quest, but I would like to have something extra at the circus before wrapping things up, maybe a job could make sense.

3) There are a fair amount of scenes, and working at the bar might be too much like working at the pub, so I am not sure. Did you have something specific in mind?

4) That sounds like a new game on itself. XD I wish I had thought of this when designing the world before. Integrating "booty calls" at this point seems like a pipe dream, but it's something I'll keep in mind for future projects.

I recall earlier during the werewolf path that the leader of the pack mentioned another rival group, and he was furious about the topic and of course there are many factors that can be exploited in the story, such as the red sand and the twins that promote it, this point can be used as a start, for example the twins trying to increase the pack number and train them in preparation for fighting Erika's pack, or maybe it can be the last quest for Erica to be the Alpha.

For the losing side, Erica can choose between letting them stay and join forces or leaving Caliross permanently.

I'll keep sending any good scenarios to you, it might help.

Yeah, that was meant to be the start for a quest related to the werewolf path. I decided to cut it for time reasons, but it's one of those I am keeping in reserve if I release a 1.1 update to Caliross some years down the line. It was meant to be a side quest, or at least, not something related to your status in the pack. The idea would be that you need to beat these werewolves into submission, to avoid them causing problems ever again.
