Writing and Planning

First of all, I am doing better than before, but the nose (or rather the nostril) is still a bit too sensitive. Still, no bleeding in quite some time now, so I shouldn't have anything to worry about.

In development news, I worked a good deal on TOTDC 2. I think if everything goes well, I should have something for my testers next month. It wouldn't be a full demo, but it would showcase all the mechanics and writing I want to get feedback early on.

For Caliross, I have been planning the next Outcasts quest, trying out some ideas and whatnot. I might have to push this to a later month, however, as while I do have some decent concepts, I couldn't quite put it all together. If I don't have the overall plan, it's hard to move to the practical side (making maps, finalizing puzzle ideas into actual gameplay and so on).

That's why for next week I'll focus mostly on the magic academy, I think. There is plenty to do already for that one, so I'll be working more on Marjorie and probably some content for new and old professors as well as lessons/mini-games.

I think that's all the news for now, do let me know if I am forgetting anything, otherwise, see you next week! ^_^

It seems totdc refers to the game Tales of the Drunken Cowboy.  You can find more information here (https://mdqpgames.blogspot.com/).

Also, mdgp, take care! I wish you strong health!

Will do! I certainly could use some good health. 2023 has been an anomaly so far, I must have been sick at least once a month for 4-5 months now! It's probably going to get better from now on, I can't imagine this streak continuing.

As Grace mentioned, it's my previous game. I am planning to make a sequel for it (or rather, it was always planned to get one, but I needed a break at the time). It's going to be made using Ren'py this time around.

Thanks for wishing me a full recovery! :)
