I Can See The Future!


As I mentioned last week, I wrote 2 new scenes for Tania, added the option for Jin to move between Golden Leaf and Tarkas, as well as added dialogues when buying Jin and Lea to ask about freeing them (they both refuse at the time, for different reasons). I also added the transportation carts to Golden Leaf (as long as you have fixed the city and its roads), and I started to do some work on re-organizing the teleportation room in the debug tool (I am doing something similar to the main room, condensing some of the choices, and reviewing what's there to see if anything should be removed or re-organized, as well as probably add some more destinations). I also did some miscellaneous stuff, like organizing the new art for the month, for example.

Speaking of which, this week on Patreon we should get the art preview, the monthly poll AND the discussion on how long I'll extend development for Caliross (to add the new stuff for the poll), as well as talk about how to switch to TOTDC 2. I wanted to get some work done for a new quest, although I wonder if I'd be able to finish it for this month's release (maybe I should focus on smaller stuff I can complete right away, since I'll also take a week off for the holidays, which means it's going to be a smaller update).

Anyway, it's nice that I have more or less done everything I was planning to tackle last week. Some of the stuff (specifically, Jin moving) will probably need some careful testing, since it's always hard to retrofit this type of changes. I think I made sure to remove any possible conflict (I even took a look at the dialogues), but I can't be 100% sure. I also didn't do anything special so far (like write scenes for potential conflicts with Eliza or the cowgirl maids, for example), and I am currently thinking of leaving that alone (it would probably be fun, but also a lot of work).
